While still a bit clueless with the detail we want to put on our day, it’s a no brainer that good music is a must. I was set on getting strings for the reception even before we had wedding plans hehe. Yet it was only recently that I have been hearing a full choir every Sunday mass that I realize how much a capella singing incomparably lends a very solemn background to the ceremony, to say, just a church soloist and keyboardist combo.
Luckily, I stumbled upon Anima choir – a small group of ex-San Miguel Master Chorale singers that happen to grace weddings and receptions. I reviewed their profile and samples on their website – listenable, but worthy talent was definitely there. I immediately emailed Roger and got a swift response – thankfully, they’re within budget.
I was cheery as Cat when she noted they can perform Lea Salonga’s ‘Two Words’. Sweet icing on the cake.
