Great, our new blog is now up. And I love the fact that both Cat and I are blogging here.
I’ve been thinking about where to set up our wedding site (well, it’s a blog at the moment) and finally decided WordPress is the way to go. Wedding Announcer is nice, but pretty cliche for our taste. Vox has served our personal blogs well, but for this, it’s just too much. And the crowd fave, Blogger, has that clunky header bar that’s absolutely horrid to have for a wedding blog site.
We needed something simple, uncluttered, customizable (well, to an extent kahit limited), and a mature blog platform that can let us post in abandon under each our own voices…and more importantly, totally free of cost (For those soon-to-be-wed out there, you’ll realize how important every peso saved is when you start listing down those supplier costs hehe).
Anyway, we’ll chalk down our wedding plans here and there, write about our groundwork experience, and populate the pages with real info once we lay down our choices in paper.
